2009-10-07 Decided to start my own blog. Realised it would offer me the flexibility to post items I find interesting, inspiring or simply worth sharing.

2009-09-22 It's time to take the site bilingual. Need to sit down and do the translating... Also questioning the true purpose of having a separate site for my graphic work and not just have www.siemsie.com offer both design and photography. Details I hadn't thought about when I purchased the domain names all those months ago.

2009-08-10 Updated the site with a couple of new photos taken this summer in Greece. Always a challenge not to take the typical 'Greek' landscape and cat photos that you see around. Good thing I keep coming back to this place.

2009-06-16 siemsie|photographie is launched. Time to start taking breathtaking photos.

2009-06-12 With regards to siemsie|designs I am actually setting up a small design company. Together with my contacts in the industry I plan of offering graphic, web and corporate design services. Needless to say that photography is also on offer...

Currently living between France, Switzerland and Greece freelancing as a Graphic Designer and Photographer.

Studied at two renowned design colleges in the UK and have worked in the broadcasting industry for an
international news channel in their onscreen graphics department. Went on to join a Tanker Management
company in Germany where they trained me up in various aspects of the trade. During this time involved
with shipping logistics I realised my place was back in the creative world.

Photography began as a hobby which I am developing in conjunction with my design work.
